Emergency Care for Pets

At Onoway Veterinary Clinic, we are happy to provide care and support to your loyal companion during an emergency. Our clinic is well-equipped with monitoring equipment and skilled staff to care for patients. Emergency services include bloodwork, digital X-rays, ultrasound and surgeries. If your pet becomes injured or sick outside our normal business hours, please call us immediately. You'll be asked to leave a message and your phone number with our answering service, and one of our veterinarians will return your call as soon as possible.

What health issues are considered emergencies?

Our team is here to help with any of the following:

1. Traumatic injury (car accidents)
2. Broken bones or fractures
3. Severe pain
4. Difficulty breathing
5. Inability to walk
6. Seizures
7. Accidental ingestion of toxins or foreign objects
8. Retching with no vomit
9. Severe diarrhea or vomiting
10. Allergic reaction
11. Excessive bleeding
